Chiang Rai Thaïlande

Chiang Rai est la capitale de la province de Chiang Rai, dans le nord de la Thaïlande. Elle est le principal centre commercial desservant la région frontalière du Triangle d’or entre la Thaïlande, le Myanmar et le Laos. C'est une excellente base pour explorer la région. Chiang Rai est essentiellement une ville de services pour la province environnante. Malgré sa population relativement petite, Chiang Rai a toujours respecté les universités et autres installations civiques. Le personnage est clairement du nord et se distingue de Chiang Mai au sud de différentes manières. La nourriture est nettement plus épicée et la composition ethnique comprend un bon pourcentage de tribus montagnardes et d’exilés du Myanmar, telles que diverses variétés de membres de la tribu Karen. Il existe de nombreux temples et musées à explorer. Le temple blanc est spectaculaire et mérite une visite. Le musée et centre d'éducation Hill Tribe est l'endroit idéal pour en apprendre davantage sur les tribus montagnardes et leurs cultures. Il y a un très bon marché de nuit qui comprend également une aire de restauration en plein air. Buffalo Horn Hill offre une vue splendide sur Chiang Rai. Chiang Rai est l'un des meilleurs endroits pour faire du trekking en Thaïlande, avec ses montagnes séduisantes et ses nombreuses tribus montagnardes. Chiang Rai conserve un charme de petite ville qui en fait une destination idéale pour profiter de la culture et de la nature locales.
