Torremolinos Spain

Torremolinos is a municipality on the Costa del Sol on the Mediterranean, just west of Málaga. Originally a small fishing village in the 1920s, it has since been transformed by tourism. Over the years, Torremolinos has developed into an attractive and popular resort, known for its clean sandy beaches, wide range of hotels and restaurants, and an unparalleled variety of entertainment, activities, and nightlife. At the height of summer, the resort is especially popular with younger visitors and is well known for its lively nightlife. The Pimentel Tower is Torremolinos’s most iconic landmark. Also known as the Torre de los Molinos, this tower dates back to the 14th century. San Miguel Street is the bustling heart of the town and serves as an open-air shopping district; in fact, it is one of the busiest streets in Europe.
